October month me bhi retail inflation 7% ke above bana hua hai. Costlier vegetables, eggs and many more se retail inflation after 6.5 years high par hai. Moreover ye Reserve Bank ke comfort zone ke above hai As RBI ka upper margin 6% hai. And government ne central bank ko 4% rakhne ke liye mandate kiya hai. Ye continuous second month 7% se above hua hai. Previously, aisa inflation May 2014 me hua tha.
Retail Inflation Ke Raise Hone Ke Kya Reasons Hai?
Food price ke raise hone ke sath retail inflation October me 7.61% tak reach kiya hai. Moreover, ye Consumer Price Index (CPI) ke release hue data ke according government ne release kiya hai. September me 7.27% se rise ho kar inflation 7.61% tak pahuch gaya hai. Even so October me vegetables ka price yearly basis 22.51% raise kiya hai. And protein-rich meat and fish ka price 18.70% tak raise hua hai. But September me 17.60% tha. Additionally, month me egg ka price 21.81% tak raise kiya hai. And September me iska price 15.47% tha. Following this ‘fuel and light’ ka price kam ho kar 2.28% hai jo September me 2.87% tha. And ‘milk and products’ ka price kam ho kar 5.20% hai jo September me 5.64% tha.
“While a base effect and some softening in vegetable prices may pull down the CPI inflation in the ongoing month, it is expected to recede below 6 per cent only in December 2020”

National Statistical Office (NSO) ke data ke according consumer price index urban October me 7.40% hai. As September me CPI Urban 7.26% tha. Secondly, CPI Rural October me increase ho kar 7.69% hua jo September me 7.36% tha. After 77 months October me retail Inflation raise ho kar 7.61% hua hai. Moreover, because of COVID-19 inflation from health and recreation and amusement inflation raise hua hai. After coronavirus restriction 6 months me first time 0.2% industrial output grew kiya hai. Above all, Economic Affairs Secretary Tarun Bajaj ne assure kiya hai ki ye food prices temporary phenomenon hai. And government ne essential commodities ki normal price and supply ko wapas lane ke liye steps le rahi.
