Financial year 2021-2022 ka budget plan dikhate hue Financial Minister Nirmala Sitharaman ne bataya ki 2 public sector bank ko privatise karne ki process chalu hai under Disinvestment plan.
Government ne pehle bhi zadatar stake IDBI Bank ka LIC ko sell kar diya tha. Last 4 years me Government ne 14 public sector banks ko merge kar diya tha baki banks ke sath.

Finance Ministry and Bank Unions ke bich 4,9 and 10th march ko meetings hui thi privatisation of public sector banks ke topic pe. But reconciliation nai hoo payi Union and Ministry ke bich me.
