Cabinet ne 2 lakh crore ke production linked incentive (PLI) scheme ka approval de diya hai. Moreover, is scheme se 10 more sectors ko benefit milega. Government ne is scheme ka approval domestic manufacturing ko increase karne ke liye diya hai. White goods manufacturing, pharmaceutical, specialised steel, auto, telecom, textile, food products, solar photovoltic, and cell battery sectors ko benefit milega.

Scheme Ke Benefits

The information and broadcasting minister Prakash Javadekar ne reporters ko scheme ki information di. Moreover, Production Linked Incentive Scheme ka aim hai ki Indian manufacturers’ global market me competitive bane. Even so is five years scheme se domestic manufacturing boost hoga. And PLI scheme se employment generation ke sath import too reduce hoga. Indian government is scheme ke through economic growth par bhi focus kar rahi hai. Furthermore, PLI scheme ka financial outlay Rs 1,45,980 crore hai. Following this scheme finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman ne kaha ki PLI scheme manufacturers ko great incentive provide karegi. And country ko ”Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (Self-Reliant India) ke objective ki side le jaigi. Additionally, cabinet ne social infrastructure sectors ke viability gap funding scheme extend karne ka decision liya hai.

Sectorwise Incentives

  1. Among 10 sectors Advance Chemistry Cell (ACC) battery ko Rs 18,100 crore milega.
  2. Secondly, electronics and technology products ko Rs 5,000 crore amount milega.
  3. Automobiles and auto components Rs 57,042 crore milne ke liye entitled hai. And Rs 15,000 crore ka amount pharmaceuticals and drugs ko milega.
  4. Telecom and networking products ko Rs 12,195 crore and textiles products Rs 10,683 crore milega.
  5. Food products ko Rs 10,900 crore Milega. Moreover, high efficiency solar PV modules ko Rs 4,500 crore milega.
  6. Even so white goods Rs 6,238 crore ke liye entitled hai. Last but not the least speciality steel ko Rs 6,322 crore milega.

Scheme Ke Liye Industry leaders Ke Reactions

Production Linked Incentive Scheme ke liye different industry leaders ne apne reactions diye. Firstly, FICCI ke President Sangita Reddy ne kaha ki PLI scheme ke announcement se manufacturing sector ko major boost milega. Secondly, Kamal Nandi, CEAMA ke president and Godrej Appliances ke Business Head & Executive Vice President ne scheme approval ka welcome kiya. And kaha ki India ke self-reliant hone ke liye union cabinet ka welcome move hai. Even so SIAM ne PLI scheme ke announcement ka welcome following line se kiya.
