However, farmer unions dvaara nationwide Bharat Bandh strike ke ek din baad 9 December ko dono side fir se milne ko ready hai. Furthermore, strike se opposition parties, trade unions, auto and taxi unions ne support kiya. However, Services across sectors may remain affected during the nationwide strike.

Farmers ke leader Baldev Singh Yadav ne kaha “We have announced ‘Bharat Bandh’ on December 8, which will start in the morning and continue till evening. During the strike, shops and businesses will remain shut. Ambulances and emergency work will be exempted from the Bandh,”

Delhi, Haryana Likely To Be Most Affected During Bharat Bandh

Delhi  me Commuters ko problems ka samna karna par sakta hai. However, city ke kuch auto and taxi unions ne bharat bandh me shamil hone ka decide kiya hai. Furthermore, Delhi Taxi Tourist Transporters Association ke President Sanjay Samrat ne kaha ki Delhi State Taxi Cooperative Society, and Kaumi Ekta Welfare Association 8 December  ko strike me shamil honge. Additionally, Delhi’s Azadpur Mandi and all other mandis in the city will also remain closed in support of the strike.

Bank Services May Take a Hit During The Bandh

8 December ko Bank services ko affect hone ka chance hai. However, bahut sare bank unions ne expressed their solidarity with farmers. And government se iss issue ko jald se jald resolve karne ka request kiya hai. However, The All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) ne ek statement me kaha hai ki government ko aage aana chahiye. And nation and farmers ke interest me unke demands ka samaadhaan karna chahiye.

Trade Unions, Punjab Hotel And Restaurant Association Lend Support

Trade unions ke joint forum ne farmers ke halchal ka support kiya. However, it includes Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC), Hind Mazdoor Sabha (HMS), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), All India United Trade Union Centre (AIUTUC) and Trade Union Coordination Centre (TUCC). Furthermore, In Punjab, Hotel and Restaurant Association ne kaha pre-existing marriage and banquet bookings already confirmed ho gaya hai. All hotels, restaurants, resorts and bars will remain closed on December 8 to show support to Bharat bandh.

Opposition Parties To Participate In The Strike

Extending “wholehearted” support to the Bharat Bandh. Congress ne kaha ki 8 December ko farmers ki demands ke saath sabhi district and state headquarters virodh pradarshan karegee. Furthermore, iss bharat bandh me sabhi district headquarters and Pradesh headquarters participate krenge. However, Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera ne kaha “All our district headquarters and Pradesh headquarters will participate in this bandh. They will hold demonstrations and ensure that the bandh is successful”.
