PMC, ek licensing firm ne Apple ko sue kiya tha 2015 me kehte hue ki the tech giant’s iTune service ne seven patents ko copy kiya hai.
Texas ki federal Jury ne kaha hai ki Apple Inc ko pay karna padega $308.5 million to Personalised Media Communications LLC (PMC) for infringing a patent jo ki associated tha digital rights management me.
Jurors ne Friday me Apple ko direct kiya to pay a running loyalty to PMC, jo ki generally based hota hai amount of sales of a product or service.
Apple Actions On This Case
Apple ne kaha ki ye disapointing tha jo verdict and pannel ne appeal kiya.
Apple ne succesfully chalange kiya tha PMC’s case ko at the U.S. Patent office, lekin ek appleals court ne march me last year reverse kar diya ye decision jo ki sidha trial ke taraf lee gaya.
