Pride Month: Every year June mein duniya mein harr jagah LGBTQ+ community ko support karne ke liye yeh month ko dedicate kiya jata hai. Pride month is about people coming together, to show and celebrate how far the gay rights have come and aur kitna gay rights achieve karna baaki hai.
What Is The Pride Month All About?
Pride month is al about equality, teaching about acceptance and above all love. Yeh month mein the LGBTQ+ community khudko aur dusro ko educate karte hai unki community ke baare mein aur logo ko samjhate hai ki homphobia jisse dislike for gay people kehte hai who kitna damaging hota hai. Above all the motive is to be proud of who you are and no matter who you love.

But abhi Covid-19 pandemic ke chalte hue kai saare log isse online hi celebrate karenge and online hi awarness spread karenge.

India mein first pride month parade Kolkata mein 2nd July 1999 mein organize kiya gaya tha. Even though parade Kolkata mein organize kiya gaya tha but log cities like Mumbai and Bangalore se bhi aaya the participate karne ke liye. But saare cities se participants aane ke baad bhi total 15 hi participants the, and none of them were women. Kolkata ke 1999 Rainbow parade ke baad aaj ke din mein 21 se bhi zyada cities mein aise parades organize kiye jate hai.
2008 se Bangalore, Delhi and Puducherry jaise cities mein bhi parades organize hona chalu hogaye the. And iss baar more than 2500 participants dekhe gaye the. Inn parades ko kuch political parties ne rokne ki koshish ki but Prime Minister ka LGBTQI+ rights ke favor mein bolna and Delhi ke high court ka homosexuality decriminalize karna LGBTQ+ community ke liye aek major push tha.
2018, India mein pride parades ke liye aek bohot hi jubilant year tha because uss saal section 377 ko struck down kar diya tha. Aur issi khushi mein the whole community marched again proudly in 2018.
